Why would Ian sit in the first situation? Just curious to your thought process.

If john shows up then I want to get him in now and I definitely don't want to sit Elavia because if we win we can't vote her out or sit her next time and we could be stuck if next challenge requires full participation. Ian is my ally so he was the easiest to ask to sit without taking it personally. I already talked to him and he knows the two scenarios. I also talked to Cyndi and she is good with tackling shapes on her own if john commits then disappears. Having John in is crucial in step 1 because if we lose and vote out Elavia, we can still sit him next time.

It may sound like I'm over thinking but the way I see it Elavia and John are our buffers, once the buffer zone is used up it's gonna get real tense in here. I'm just trying to keep them around as long as we can
